What Goes Over the Devil’s Back, Always Comes Under His Belly
This is just a southern way of saying “what goes around, comes around.” If you mistreat someone in some way, or disrespect her, you will reap what you sow. You can call it karma or poetic justice. It really doesn’t matter; you just want to make sure whatever you sow with others is going to come back to you in a good way.
