Automatically generating scene markers
Manually placing markers in the Timeline gives you ultimate control over the
placement of your markers. For longer videos however, you may not wish to place
all the markers by hand. To make the process of placing markers easier, Adobe
Premiere Elements can create markers automatically based on several confi gurable
parameters.
1 Choose File > Save As and save this project fi le into your Lesson11 folder as
Lesson11_Markers.prel. You will return to the original project fi le after you
fi nish exploring the automatic generation of scene markers.
2 In the Disc Layout panel, choose Auto-Generate ...
