So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Waterfall charts
A performance waterfall chart depicts, on a timeline, how web page resources are downloaded and processed by the browser. It gives a clear visual representation of the sequence in which items are downloaded, how they are dependent, and where there are performance bottlenecks.
Waterfall charts are available in many of the performance testing tools that you might use to test your pages. They are indispensable in helping us achieve our performance goals.
