I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Session stitching AMP Cache and original domain
A side effect of serving content from the AMP Cache is that, since it's a separate domain, user sessions from the original domain and the AMP Cache aren't automatically unified in analytics. That is, the same visitor to each of the domains will be treated as two different users and is assigned two different client IDs. However, with a little creativity, we can work around this.
The solution presented here is based on an approach by Simo Ahava and Dan Wilkinson (simoahava.com/analytics/google-analytics-client-id-amp-pages/)
Earlier, it was mentioned that the amp-analytics configuration could be fetched from a remote (HTTPS) server endpoint. This is key to setting up cross-domain session stitching. ...
