I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
From zero to AMP
We started off this book in the programming tradition of building a simple "Hello World!" example. This allowed us to introduce the AMP boilerplate code that forms the backbone of every AMP page.
After this, we quickly built up more practical examples, with article and e-commerce pages being the main focus. We saw a variety of layout and presentation techniques, we learned about monetization through ads and analytics, and we saw some advanced deployment techniques. We built some nice prototypes!
We also considered the driving force behind AMP, namely performance on the web, or the lack of it in general. Performance is a good goal to have. Having performance at its heart, driving all design decisions in AMP, benefits users ...
