So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

NEW MANAGER ASSIMILATION PROCESS
GOALS
This process is designed to be used when a group has a new manager. It speeds up the inevitable transition time, which allows for effective leadership. This process requires facilitation by a neutral third party. The purpose of the exercise is to discuss openly
- mutual expectations
- ways that the group can be a resource to the manager
- the manager’s operating style
- concerns of the group.
LOGISTICS
The manager invites all team members to the meeting. Time required: Three hours Equipment: Flipchart and easel stand
