Making Backup Files

Because you've invested time in your drawings, CorelDraw provides ways for you to protect them from computer disasters, such as crashes, inadvertent deletions, and corrupted files. By setting the appropriate backup options, you can make automatic backups at regular intervals, as well as make a backup on each save. Either method enables you to restore the previous version of a drawing.

To set backup options:

Choose Tools > Options or press . The Options dialog box appears (Figure 2.12).

Click the Save heading.
