Using Blends
Blends create a specific number of intermediate objects (or steps) between two selected objects. You can use a blend to quickly create multiple copies of the same object or to blend two objects together to create a morph. Blends can also be blended together to create multiple blends. Using multiple blends, you can create highlights and make objects sparkle.
To blend two objects together:

Use the Pick Tool to select the two objects you want to blend (Figure 15.11).

Select the Interactive Blend Tool from the toolbox (Figure 15.12).
