Adding Perspective

Setting an object's perspective lets you add the illusion of distance and depth.

To add perspective to an object:

1.
Select the object with the Pick Tool.
2.
Choose Effects > Add Perspective. A red, dotted grid with four handles appears (Figure 15.18).

Click and drag one or more handles to change the shape of the grid. As you drag, the perspective changes (Figure 15.19).

When you're done, select the Pick Tool or press to see the effect (Figure 15.20). ...
