Grouping Objects

Grouping objects binds them together so you can manipulate them as a unit. For instance, if you want to move several objects yet keep them in the same positions relative to each other, you could group the objects and then move them as a unit.

Formatting applied to a group also affects all objects in the group. You could add a blue fill to all objects in a group by selecting the group and clicking a blue shade on the color palette. If you later need to work with the individual objects that make up the group, you can simply ungroup them.
