It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

a check list of all the issues the company may face in a par-
ticular market. Having qualified expertise or access to ex-
pertise is a critical element to assessing the risks correctly.
LOCATING MANUFACTURING SOURCES
There are numerous methods of finding manufacturing
options in foreign markets. Some of them are as follows:
• Hire employees who have specific contacts and prior
experience in foreign sourcing in the products and
manufacturing you require.
• Engage consultants who can provide the specific exper-
tise you need.
• Find specialty sourcing agents that represent foreign
manufacturers. These are typically foreign nationals of
that country living in the United States having the
