So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
24 HOUR MANIFEST
The 24 Hour Manifest rule obligates shippers to provide
CBP with a detailed and electronically driven manifest de-
tailing all inbound cargo, 24 hours before loading in the
overseas port of departure. It took over a year for the regu-
lation to become effective; it is now in full force and work-
ing well.
The U.S. Government has adopted rules on inbound
freight, set at 4 hours before take off for air freight and 1
hour before travel for certain truck, rail, and air lines into
the United States from Canada and Mexico and other coun-
tries with shorter travel distances.
