Lead professionals
In the past, the leader was assumed to be the smartest person in the room. The good news is that you do not need to be the smartest person in the room: your job is to get the smartest people in the room. If you do your job well you will be leading people who are as smart, if not smarter, than you are. You no longer have to lead workers – you have to lead professionals.
