If there are IFLs or ICFs processors in a configuration, the sum of the number of those
processors must be taken into account when planning for concurrent upgrades.
Upgrades from z900 Models 1C1 through 1C9
cannot be done concurrently to Models 2C1
through 2C9 or to Models 210 and above, as this upgrade requires the non-turbo 20-PU MCM
replacement by the turbo 20-PU MCM.
The number of CBU features available on each model is shown on Table 2-3 and Table 2-4.
The maximum number depends upon the number of spare PUs available in a configuration.
One CBU feature is required for each “stand-by” CP.
