The icon launched in September 2010 in time for the Wales vs.
Montenegro Euro 2012 qualifying match. FAW produced prematch
promotional assets, including posters, tickets, and programs, and
in-stadium signage was supported by onscreen animations that
used the core FAW crest. The mark was also applied to players’
uniforms at a later date.
