I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
- Validate whether any existing configuration is already done; if not, then create a new Office Web Apps Farm by running this:
Get-OfficeWebAppsFarm New-OfficeWebAppsFarm -InternalURL "https://oos.testlabs.se" ` -ExternalURL "https://oos.testlabs.se" -CertificateName ` "OOS certificate"
- Start any Internet browser and go to the URL listed here; validate that there are no certificate errors and that the XML file including the content is being shown:
https://oos.testlabs.se/hosting/discovery
- Before configuring, let's validate that the OOS isn't already configured for Exchange. If not, then continue to configure OOS at the organizational level for Exchange 2016 by running this:
Get-OrganizationConfig | fl WacDiscoveryEndpoint ...
