I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Introduction
In Exchange 2013 SP1 (CU4), the Edge Transport was reintroduced and it remains present in Exchange 2016. But, unlike Exchange 2013, there are now only two server roles- Edge Transport servers and Mailbox servers. This means the Mailbox server role now includes both the client access services that accept client connections for all protocols, as well as the transport services that are used to route email.
In addition to routing messages, you can apply rules, configure settings, and enforce limits on messages as they pass through the servers in your environment. Transport agents can be used to provide basic anti-spam protection, and both roles implement detailed logging capabilities that can be leveraged from the shell. In this ...
