I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
- To generate a report for an individual user's device synchronization status, use the following command:
Get-MobileDeviceStatistics -Mailbox lsanders
- This cmdlet will output a lot of information, some of which may not be very interesting. You can limit the data returned by selecting only the properties that provide useful information:
Get-MobileDeviceStatistics -Mailbox lsanders | select LastSuccessSync,Status,DevicePhoneNumber,` DeviceType
The output for the previous command will look similar to the following screenshot:
- To export this information, you can pipe the command even further to the Export-CSV cmdlet:
