I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
Mailbox audit logging is enabled on a per-mailbox basis, by using the Set-Mailbox cmdlet. It is possible to configure three levels of auditing:
- Administrative, which audits mailbox moves, imports/exports to and from PSTs, or mailbox discovery searches, for example
- Owner, where actions taken by the owner of the mailbox are audited
- Delegates that have the SendAs, SendOnBehalf or FullAccess permission to someone's mailbox
When we enable mailbox audit logging for a mailbox, access to the mailbox and certain administrator and delegate actions are logged by default as you saw in the first screenshot.
