It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This chapter provided an overview of the major new features and enhancements of SQL Server 2005 that will be most interesting to the DBA. References to information for developer topics were provided, as there are many new features for development which are not covered in this book. This book focuses on installation, configuration, administration, high availability, scalability, business intelligence capabilities, and performance topics for SQL Server 2005, as well as how to use some of the new features that will be important for the DBA.
