Introduction
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 is a major new release of SQL Server with a wealth of new features and enhancements from previous versions that provide improved database scalability, reliability, security, administration, and performance, to name a few. If you are currently a SQL Server database administrator (DBA), you have probably either already made the upgrade to SQL Server 2005 and are learning to use the new tools and features, or you should be in the process of considering the upgrade.
