Managing Replication
Replication is managed from SQL Server Management studio or via SQL statements. Once replication has been configured, it requires regular monitoring and maintenance. Maintenance tasks can be performed either via SQL Server Management Studio or via SQL statements. In order to invoke many of the replication maintenance tasks, right-click Replication.
On the menu that appears, you can select from the following utilities:
Publisher Properties. Used to change properties of the publisher. From this page you can add or remove databases as a publication. Available replication types are transactional and merge.
Distributor Properties. Used to view and change properties of the distributor.
