Growth Considerations
When sizing a system and performing a capacity planning exercise, accounting for future growth is crucial. In fact, capacity planning is all about system growth. But as with the previous sections in this chapter, the calculations needed to calculate future growth depend heavily on the data that you put into these calculations. If you are not given sufficient information to anticipate the system growth, then you will be completely unable to anticipate system problems.
