Similar to the installation process, SQL Server 2005 can be uninstalled using either an uninstall wizard or the command prompt. The following sections explain both of these methods in detail.
To begin the uninstall process, click the Start button, select Control Panel (or select Settings and then Control Panel), and then in Control Panel, double-click Add Or Remove Programs.
In the left pane, click Add/Remove Windows Components.
Select the SQL Server 2005 component to uninstall. The Change and Remove buttons are then displayed. Click Remove. This starts the SQL Server 2005 Unistall Wizard.
