General Broadband Security Tips

If you have a broadband connection, you absolutely need to be security aware. You should have several good solutions in place to protect your machines from the Internet. If you don't, it is only a matter of time before you are hit. That is the reality of today's Internet. If you can't list what precautions you have taken expressly to secure your broadband connection, it is not secure.
