It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
To view TCP stream graph statistics, go through the following steps:
- Click on a packet on the stream you want to monitor.
- From the Statistics menu, choose TCP Stream Graph | Window Scaling Graph.
- The following window will be opened:
In this graph, we can see instability, caused by one of the sides. This can be an indication of a slow server or client, which cannot process all the data it receives, and therefore, by reducing the received window size, it tells the other side to send less data.
