So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Administering OCR
OCR is the Oracle RAC configuration information repository that manages information about the cluster node list and instance-to-node mapping information. Processes that make up the CRS and other cluster-aware applications use this repository to share information among them. Its contents include but are not limited to the following:
Node membership information
Database instance, node, and other mapping information
