I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installation Log Files
Installing Oracle RAC involves the installation of software and executing post-installation configuration scripts, such as root.sh, so you will be analyzing different types of debug log files depending on which stage of the installation failure has occurred. Oracle stores software installation log files inside the logs directory of Oracle central inventory, where the location of central inventory is specified by the oraInst.loc file. This file is stored at /etc/oracle on the Linux operating system and at /var/opt/oracle on other UNIX operating systems. Oracle records all actions performed by Oracle Universal Installer in the log file named Install Actions<timestamp>.log.
