So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

JAVA AND ORACLE
The introduction of the Java language into the Oracle engine has had a very important impact on applications development. Due to the high degree of portability of Java, as well as its interpretive nature, Java becomes an ideal language for the dynamic generation of information being accessed by Oracle. Whether we are discussing Java applets, Java servlets, the JVM Java virtual machine, or Java within PL/SQL, it is indispensable for the Oracle professional to understand the importance of Java in applications development.
Chapters 17 and 18 introduce a great conceptual overview of Java and demonstrate how Java can be used to create portable and robust Oracle applications.
