So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

ORACLE SECURITY
With the advent of the new authentication server technologies and incorporation of Kerberos in Oracle8, Oracle security mechanisms are more complex than ever before. Oracle now offers sophisticated security mechanisms at both the database and network levels. In addition to the Oracle role-based security, we also find sophisticated PL/SQL encryption algorithms and a host of other tools, all designed to ensure that all Oracle information remains secure and manageable.
Chapters 51 through 53 are drawn from some of the foremost Oracle security experts in the industry. Especially interesting is Chapter 52 on rowlevel security, which shows how to protect access to Oracle database at the smallest level of granularity.
