Frederick Gallegos

Joseph C. Yin

This chapter provides a basic explanation of the auditing facility provided in the Oracle database system and how to audit by using the auditing scripts included in this guide. The chapter is divided into three sections. The first describes the auditing script for creating audit trails for any user-specific administrative application’s access grants table. The second describes the security features in Oracle and the necessary auditing scripts to be run by the auditors or security professionals in the daily relational database management system (RDBMS) operations.
