It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

10.2.1 Performance Standards for
Navigational Radar Equipment
installed before 1 September 1984
1 Introduction
1 The radar equipment required by Regulation 12 of
Chapter V should provide an indication in relation to
the ship of the position of other surface craft and
obstructions and of buoys, shorelines and navigational
marks in a manner which will assist in avoiding collision
and in navigation.
