So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

3.7.6 Exploiting the ability of radar to
detect precipitation
The ability of radar to detect precipitation at long range
has been found useful in a number of meteorological
applications. Shore-based radars having a range of sev-
eral hundred miles have been used to track the move-
ment of the large areas of precipitation present in
hurricanes and other similar storms in order to provide
warning of possible danger and damage from the assoc-
iated weather conditions. The detection range offered
by shipboard radar cannot provide sufficient warning to
