Checking the focus
It would be most unusual to find a raster-scan display in
which the focus was not preset. Nevertheless, when pre-
paring the display the focus should be checked. The
graphics, in particular alphanumeric characters, are a
good indicator of focus. If they are blurred and indis-
tinct, focus adjustment is necessary and this should be
carried out by qualified service personnel.
