Bottom-Up Estimation
Bottom-up estimation is a fairly popular approach and is known by many different names including module build-up, by-engineering procedures, top-down, decomposition, and several others. Developing cash-flow streams using a work breakdown structure (WBS), as described in Chapter 3 and Appendix A, is an application of this estimation technique.
