SAP provides R3trans as part of the standard kernel, and it can be used to perform client administration activities such as client export, import, copy, and delete functions. Its use is generally not recommended, but the tool could be useful to administrators when transport management system is still not set up or there is a temporary issue with the transport system. The following procedure shows how to delete a client using R3trans.
1. Log in at the operating system level as <SID>adm user account (Example: devadm).
2. Change the directory to /usr/sap/trans/bin.
3. Create a control file (text file) as shown (example: delclient.ctl) and save it.
