CHAPTER 15SAP Processes in Java Stack

In this chapter we will study the different SAP processes in the Java stack and the tools used to configure and administer the SAP NW AS Java. SAP configuration management primarily involves making parameter changes and administering the SAP Java cluster. SAP administration tools also support changes to the Java memory parameters, the starting and stopping of SAP cluster elements, and the starting and shutting down of the managers and services of the Java cluster elements. Additional administration activities include changes to the port numbers and implementation of secure protocols, such as HTTPS for secure communication.
