WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

Making the transition from technician to manager will necessitate becoming less of a ‘doer’ and more of a coordinator, director, monitor, mentor, broker and facilitator. If you are too busy doing you will not be managing and hence not fulfilling your prime purpose as a manager.
