No matter how many times Kathryn had built or refurbished teams, she never got used to watching the inevitable ebbs and flows. Why can't we just make progress in one fell swoop? she asked herself.
In theory, with Mikey and Martin now seemingly on board, it should have been relatively easy to make the team work. But Kathryn knew that reality did not usually match theory; she still had a long way to go.
