So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This chapter discussed important concepts you need to know before deploying .NET applications. You saw how the .NET Framework solves the Dll Hell problem by avoiding the need of component registration and allowing the XCopy deployment. Then you saw what the global assembly cache is and how you can manage it for sharing assemblies among multiple applications.
