Specialty link lists and directories, as you might infer from the name, are those directories and link lists that are concentrated on a single topic. They don't try to have the sweeping scope of Google or Yahoo, and for that reason they're usually more in-depth about one particular topic than Google or Yahoo.
Strangely enough, the first best way for finding specialty link lists and directories is to use DMOZ or Yahoo.
In the rest of this book I'll tell you to search as specifically as possible, to get as narrow as you can, and then work your way more generally.
