Finding Experts Using Google
Sometimes the ask-an-expert listings can't help you find experts. Usually it's because you're looking for something fairly obscure—there's more call for “ask the biologist” than there is for “ask the specialist in freshwater ichthyology.” In that case you can do a Google search. I don't recommend this unless you are really searching for something obscure. (Don't do this looking for experts in medicine, for example, because it won't work.)
