I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Monitors and Displays
Typically when you buy a new desktop PC, laptop, netbook, or tablet, you start with a single display. On a desktop PC, a separate external monitor is attached by a VGA or DVI cable; with a laptop, netbook, or tablet, your display is built in to the computer. The display area can vary from 7” diagonal on a small tablet to 25” for a large external monitor, as shown in Figure 14–1. The sizes shown are the most common ranges by device type. There are high end laptops with 19” screens; and tablets, laptops, netbooks, and convertibles overlap in sizes and capabilities.
