I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using Yahoo! Widgets
For the most part Yahoo! Widgets look and work a lot like Microsoft and Google gadgets. But widgets also have several differences in how they are organized and displayed. They are not necessarily harder or easier to use than Microsoft or Google gadgets, but you will need to learn a different way to do some things.
Heads Up Display
Heads Up Display is unique to Yahoo! Widgets and is similar to the Windows Show/Hide Desktop command. When you select Heads Up Display, all other windows are minimized, and all widgets in the Dock are opened on top of a special background on top of the desktop. You can also toggle the Heads Up Display by pressing the F8 key.
