Be familiar with the different types of images used for deployments. Windows 7 images are contained within .wim files and include boot images that boot to the Windows PE and install images that include the full operating system. Install images can be customized offline and online. After an online image is customized, Sysprep must be run on the image to remove computer-specific information and prepare it to be captured.
