- Recommended updates
Updates that are performance related. These are designed to help improve the operation of a computer. They can include updates that will resolve bugs that cause an application to hang or crash. They can also include new drivers.
- Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
A virtualization technology used to deliver applications or desktops to users. It was previously known as Terminal Services but was renamed in Windows Server 2008 R2.
- Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT)
A group of tools that can be installed on a Windows 7 computer to enable IT administrators to manage roles and features on servers in the domain. Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2 servers can all be managed using RSAT.
