Group Policy and the GPMC

Understand what Group Policy objects are and how they are used in a domain. Be aware that you can link GPOs to a site, a domain, or an OU, and understand that where you link the GPO determines its scope. Be able to identify the winning GPO based on the GPO precedence. Know how to install RSAT and use the Group Policy Management console.

Understand the effect of the advanced Group Policy settings. Block Inheritance will block all parent GPOs unless the GPO has Enforced set. Enforced will ensure that all settings in the GPO will apply even if there are conflicts and even if the Block Inheritance is enabled.
