What makes a resilient person?
Many of our coping skills are laid down in childhood. Having
a nurturing, protective but strong upbringing is a very strong
factor in resilience. However, children can learn resilience vicari-
ously and can be positively affected if there is at least one adult
in their childhood who represents strong parenting and is sup-
portive.
