if two or more events are connected with each other, then their simultaneous occurrence is called a
compound event. In an experiment in which two coins are tossed, the event of obtaining “one head
and one tail” is a compound event as it consists of two events: (1) one head occurrence and (2) one
tail occurrence. Similarly, if a bag contains 3 red and 3 blue balls and two balls are drawn randomly,
