Designating Favorites
WHAT IF YOU WANT to quickly call your best friend, your spouse, your lawyer, one of your children, or your weekly tennis partner? Scrolling through hundreds of contacts to find their phone numbers can be unwieldy.
That’s where the Favorites list comes in. Think of it as the Galaxy S II’s speed dial. The Galaxy S II puts people on the list based on how often you communicate with them. From this list, you can contact the person in the same ways as you can when you’re in the normal Contacts list.

To add someone as a Favorite, open the contact and tap the dark star next to his name. The star turns gold, and the person shows up on your Favorites list.
Note
To remove someone from your Favorites list, open the contact, and then tap the gold star. It turns dark, indicating that the person is no longer one of your Favorites.
